Warsaw – July 4, 2006 – TVN S.A. announced audience share results for June 2006 and for the first half of 2006.


In the first half of 2006 our TVN channel achieved on an all day nationwide basis audience share of 16.5% compared to 14.6% in the first half of 2005. The TVN Group achieved an all day nationwide audience share of 20.3% compared to 17.9% in corresponding period of 2005.

In the first half of 2006 the TVN key target group1 prime time (7 pm – 11 pm) audience share increased to 30% compared to 26.3% in the corresponding period of 2005. The TVN Group key target audience share increased to 34.9% from 31.1% in the first half of 2005.

In June 2006, our TVN channel achieved on an all day nationwide basis audience share of 15% compared to 14.6% in the corresponding period of 2005. The TVN Group achieved an all day nationwide audience share of 19% compared to 17.9% in June 2005.

In June 2006 the TVN key target group prime time audience share decreased to 24.7% compared to 26.4% in June 2005. The TVN Group key target audience share decreased to 29.4% from 30.9% in the corresponding period of 2005. The above mentioned decreases are due to the impact of the FIFA World CUP Germany 2006 matches broadcast by TVP and Polsat in the month of June.

In June 2006, the top shows broadcast on TVN included our two series: Na Wspólnej and W11-Wydział Śledczy. Our information and current affairs program Fakty and entertainment show Szymon Majewski Show also achieved very good audience share results. The top movies included Lethal Weapon and Tango and Cash.

Seven out of ten our top shows, broadcast on TVN, were locally produced also including: Kryminalni, Niania and Magda M.
